    Description

Vintage 1950's Hard plastic Boy & Girl Dolls with side looking eyes, moveable arms and a rattle inside. The girl doll has a built-in hanger/loop on the top of her head. They are able to stand unassisted.
These two are wearing coordinating hand made Scandinavian Crocheted Outfits including shoes and hats. Careful, there are a few pins holding the hats on.
The outfits were made in such a way that they are not removable. I can feel raised areas on the doll backs that likely provide makers information for the dolls.
Condition is pre-owned vintage. These are overall in great condition for their age. Please review all photos provided which includes measurements.
If you live in the greater Los Angeles area and are willing to drive to the South Bay to pick this up, I have included a free pickup option for you to select at checkout. If you don't live in LA please do not select this as it will delay and complicate the shipping process.
Amazing, tiny, detailed work on this miniature baby. The doll is just 2” tall. It is so small that it is hard to define the material of which the doll was created. Possibly porcelain or clay. The face is beautifully painted. The outfit and the accessories are very tiny but very detailed. Just take a look at the pictures that describes better than words. Looks like a little piece of hair is missing. The doll has a small note from the creator that was found inside the clothes. It is still there. The doll is overall clean and in good condition with just minor wear. Paint rubs to the pacifier. The hand-woven pram is wonderful! Very unique detailed work as well. It is mostly in good condition but shows some wear and the shade is missing. The pram is approximately 5” long including the handle. On the photos the doll placed in the wrong direction. The head of the baby should be on the side where the handle is. Please refer to the pictures for more details.
