Description
UP FOR AUCTION IS A VINTAGE BABY DOLL. SHE IS ABOUT 23 INCHES TALL. HER BODY , LEGS, AND ARMS APPEAR TO BE HARD PLASTIC, AND HER HEAD APPEARS TO BE RUBBER. HER ARMS ARE STRUNG, BUT HER LEGS SEEM TO BE ATTACHED BY ANOTHER METHOD, BUT I AM NOT POSITICE. THE DOLL'S KNEES ARE BENDABLE, AND SHE HAS SLEEPY EYES. THERE IS A SPEAKER ON HER STOMACH, BUT I CAN NOT GET HER TO SAY ANYTHING. ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD, SHE IS MARKED: X. SHE HAS MINOR CHIPS AND CRACKS HERE AND THERE, AND HER BACK SIDE HAS LOTS OF SCRATCHES. SHE HAS LIGHT STAINS ON HER LEFT CHEEK, HER EYES NEED CLEANING, AND HER HAIR NEEDS A LOT OF LOVE. NONE OF THE WEAR REALLY AFFECTS THE DOLL. SHE IS STILL VERY SOLID, AND OVERALL, SHE APPEARS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE DOLL COMES WITH A DRESS, UNDERWEAR, AND BONNET TYPE HAT. THE CLOTHES SHOW MINOR WEAR. ULTRA RARE.I HAVE HUNDREDS OF OTHER AWESOME, VINTAGE, AND RARE COLLECTIBLE ITEMS AVAILABLE.
AWESOME AND VERY RARE. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT ALL MY OTHER COOL AND UNUSUAL STUFF. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, CONCERNS, OR PROBLEMS.
Thanks for looking,

1923 FAM LEE INTERCHANGABLE 2 DOLL HEADS IN RARE STORE DISPLAY BERWICK DOLL CO..
I would consider, a relatively rare find, It is a counter top store display and probably one of a kind.. I am selling a set of Famlee Doll heads (with 2 interchangeable doll heads) by the Berwick Doll Company, New York, New York, Copyright 1923"" The set I'm selling appears to be incomplete and comes in it's original box. The store display and it's contents have much wear shown in pictures Given how fragile these dolls and the contents are, I have not removed the heads from the set. Each doll has crazing and much wear. The interchangeable heads are in various states of condition: some have crazing, some have some composition loss, and all are in need of a good cleaning. I have tried to show the condition of the heads in my pictures. The doll box is rough but it still does it's job to contain the dolls. There are two corner splits to the box and the box lid has "Please do not handle dolls. See picture 11. The maker's label is on the outside of the box.The box measures 17"x 13 x4" so I'm going to have to package the set in a large box. There is staining on the box and paper loss. The backdrop is very nice. This set is 98 years old, unbelievable that it lasted this long. For the Advanced doll collector who is looking for rare and special
