Vintage 14" by AMERCAN CHARACTER 1950s? Pretty

This doll has AC on back of head. I don't believe clothes are original comes with what it is wearing dress tights and shoes her eyes open and close have top eyelashes (left eye has a few missing) , jointed at shoulder and hips. head turns side to side hair matted. Eyes almost look hazel to me.

Used, Vintage Condition.  Needs head to be reattached. Magic skin body is crumbling which is why the head is no longer attached. For parts or repair.

The only manufacturer's marking that I find upon the doll is the number 28 on the back of the neck.  May possibly be Ideal, though I see no markings to know for sure.  Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated.  :)
Adorable vintage doll with what appears to be its original sweet red corduroy overalls, shirt and matching red corduroy paperboy style hat!  In my opinion, you are buying the hard plastic head and adorable clothing (overalls, hat and shirt). The body might be usable as a pattern or the doll can be displayed, as is, as shown in the photos.
Measures approximately 28" Tall.
