    Description

    This lot comes with a Sony laserdisc player, model MDP-333, the original remote, AV and power cord, and copy of Predator 2.
    The unit turns on.  When you open the tray it will often get stuck unless you manually move the flap down and kind of pull the tray out to get it started.  Once you pull it out a little, the mechanism opens it the rest of the way.  The close tray button works properly.
    When I put a disc in, it will automatically attempt to play it.  After a few seconds it tries to open back up and return the disc.  I could not get it to successfully play a disc.
    The remote for some reason doesn't seem to work either, which is a first for me.  I've had all sorts of old VCRs where nothing works but the remote still does.  The battery compartment looks clean so I'm not sure what the problem is.
    I will package this as though its working fine to avoid any further issues.  But this player is sold AS IS / FOR PARTS.
    Cost of shipping can't be helped - this is a big, hefty unit.  Please don't send a message offering to pay X amount if I give free shipping.
