Cave Boy & Cave Girl Pattern
This
sewing pattern
is for cave girl and cave boy outfits
that fit the 12 inch Pebbles and Bam Bam dolls by Ideal (Flintstones are licensed by Hanna Barbera.) The outfits have black shorts and a leopard print top made of felt. You can also use ultra suede fabric. (We have even used real leather scraps.)
The outfits are similar to but not identical to the doll's original clothing. For one thing, Pebbles original cotton dress didn't match Bam Bam's felt outfit. Now the dolls look more like a set. And, since the dolls very rarely have original clothing anymore (they lost their clothes somewhere) it's great to be able to dress them in something appropriate!
Pebbles needs a bone in her hair, and Bam Bam did have a bone on the front of his outfit, so patterns to make the bones are also included. We made our bones from off-white vinyl. We glued vinyl back to back and then cut out the bones when the glue was dry. You could also use white foamy sheets.

The larger doll is stamped 1964 - Ideal
The smaller doll is stamped 1966 - Mattel
These items are used and could use a cleaning, due to the collectable nature all cleaning is left to the buyer.
