Rare Vintage Magic Skin 24" Talker Doll Late 1940's To Early 1950s Original Box.
She has a beautiful face and a really cute outfit. Her body is one piece and is made from soft latex rubber called "Magic Skin". This makes her feel like she has real skin, she has a hard plastic head, open mouth with two front teeth.
Sleep eyes, blonde hair with curls.
This doll is in good condition.***However she does have some tears on her arms and the back of her neck. (
Most Magic Skin dolls that you find, usually have very bad discoloration and many tears to there magic skin bodies.)
She appears to be a talker doll. She has the mechanism on her neck, but no string.
Her dress is missing a button in the back. The previous owner
used
a
safety pin to replace the button.**
The box has some
has some edge and corner wear
and some rips along the seam. Box is in overall good/fair condition.
We have researched and we found one doll t
hat, looked exactly like her and was also dressed in the same clothing. (It was in a 2012
personal write up).
We read that she was made by "Plaything" a unknown doll maker. However there is no markings on her neck to verify that she was made by "Plaything"
We are not 100% sure if this is her original clothes but appear to be.

Brown open and shut eyes that are clear but stuck in the open position
Body is free of any splits or other damage
She is dressed in the official Brownie uniform of a brown snap front dress, brown belt, brown socks and shoes and the adorable Brownie beanie with the official Brownie emblem.
The box is free of tears but has scuffs and dents due its age.
Smoke free  home.
