*NASA OWNED Sony LDP-1550 Lasermax Laserdisc VideoDisc Player for Dragon's Lair.
This Sony LaserDisc player came from John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi and was used from late ~1990 until it was sold off in 2014.
Unit appears to be working. Sat for a number of years, so it had to run through a number of cycles to get the mechanical tray moving without issue. It seems this player will only play CAV encoded discs (the 30-minute ones with still frame, jog/shuttle, etc.).
Power, open, close, play, still, FF, RR and video output were all tested (see last photo).
Due to this player not being serviced and 31 years old, Buyer assumes unit is in need of future maintenence, but is currently in working order.
