    It is the buyer's responsibility to read all the information in this listing, including to carefully read, consider, and agree to the following information regarding returns, item descriptions, shipping, etc.  With any purchase made from this seller, the buyer enters into and agrees to all policies described herein.
    Returns:
    This return policy applies to any item I sell, but is especially applicable to what I deem as higher-priced items and electronics, or items with high risk to sell and ship. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing!  First, you have 3 business days from when you receive the unit/item to contact me about any issue you might have with the unit/item, and all contact must be made in writing through Ebay.  In cases where the unit/item is insured for the full purchase price, you will be required to directly sign for the shipment upon delivery.  Therefore, when you receive the unit, and prior to signing for it, first inspect the outside packaging to ensure there is no damage.  I will photograph the package - including any security tape or stickers I've applied - prior to shipping it, which will help you determine if any damage occurs during shipment.  Signing for a damaged shipment without claiming damage will void the shipping insurance and any potential for a claim, and will void this return policy and/or any potential for returns. If damage should occur in shipping, it's your responsibility to decline the shipment and open a case with the shipping agency immediately.
    After accepting the item, open the package carefully and retain the original packaging.  You'll find that the unit/item likely has tamper evident tape or stickers, and these must be left intact as you inspect the unit/item.  This is to ensure that the unit or item is not tampered with in any way after it is received by the buyer.  I don't wish to offend any potential buyer, as I value my customers, but I need to protect myself from any potential damage that might be done from someone opening or otherwise tampering with a unit or item I've shipped.  It also ensures for me that an item or unit remains in resellable condition, should I agree to accept a return.  Unfortunately, fraud does sometimes occur on Ebay, and I must protect myself from potential fraudulent losses. So, if you receive a unit or item that you think is in any way not as described or pictured, do not open the unit/item, or otherwise tamper with it in any way (for example, to try to fix a problem), because this will immediately void any potential for the item's return. Again, all tamper evident tape and/or stickers on the unit/item must be left intact, and any evidence they've been tampered with in any way will void any chance of returning the unit/item.
    In any case where I might agree to accept a return, returns would be by refund only - absolutely no exchanges. The buyer would be responsible for all shipping charges. Also, the buyer must insure the unit for the full purchase price, and ship it securely enough that it will not be damaged in shipment. Also, any returns must be in the original packaging as received by the buyer. Once I receive an item back, I will provide a refund within 3 business days from receipt of delivery.
    Item Descriptions:
    I do my best to describe the unit/item(s) for sale, but in some cases it's possible my conclusions about product details may not be correct. However, that is why is most cases the unit/item is listed "AS-IS for parts or repair", leaving you to draw your own conclusions about the unit/item. In many cases I cannot offer help or support or answer specific questions regarding the unit/item. What I believe and know about the product is already in the listing (though if something isn’t clear I will do my best to answer general questions).
    In order to avoid claims that the item is not as described "I have to state", in addition to what's in the Ebay item description, the following: "Might have scratches, dents, chips, cuts, nicks, scuffs or other marks, writing or stickers or sticker residue, dirt or other different defects that can range from something small to big.     Shipping Details:
    We do not try to make (or lose) money on our S/H cost, but rather strive to offer quality shipping at a fair price.  We use some recycled materials (and/or sometimes new materials upon request), as well as peanuts and bubble wrap to try and pack our items securely. I can't offer next day or super fast shipping, and it often takes more than one day for me to get to the post office, because selling items on Ebay is not my primary business and I don't have helpers or employees. Also, please note that shipping is limited to addresses within the contiguous United States, only. Shipping will be via FEDEX or UPS  Home/Ground or USPS Parcel Select/Priority Mail at my discretion
    Leitch HDX6800+C4 HD de-embedder

    The Leitch HDX6800+C4 is a four channel high definition audio demultiplexer / de-embedder card. Designed to install in a Leitch 6800 Plus FR-6800+, FR-6802+, FR6802+ style frame. This can de-embed four AES/EBU digital audio signals from a provided HD-SDI video input. This allows unbalanced AES outputs over BNC, unlike the B4 version which provides balanced AES outputs. This module activates one unbalanced DARS AES reference input, one HD-SDI video input (SMPTE 292M), four HD-SDI reclocked outputs, and four unbalanced AES output channels. The 4x HD-SDI output makes this function as a DA (distribution amplifier) as well as the de-embedder. Has audio processing amplification with controls for delay, gain, invert, and channel multiplexing and dithering. 16-bit, 20-bit, or 24-bit audio processing (selectable word length in channel pairs). Also has audio test tone generating, programmable audio delays (up to 1.3 seconds), and card-edge LEDs to indicate signal presence or module failure. This is similar in function to the HDX6801+C4.
    Condition:
    This was removed in good working order from a frame. But note this does not include backplane / connectors, so you are responsible for providing a frame and connectors. This only will serve to activate those.

    Q. What kind of warranty is offered?
    A. All items include a 30 day warranty from date of delivery. Domestic returns are free unless the buyer causes the item to arrive back in worse condition than it was received (abuse, damage, tampering, modification, removal/replacement of parts, significant usage added, etc). We reserve right to issue a partial refund in the above “buyer fault” scenarios corresponding to the severity of the issue. Return shipping cost is paid by seller for domestic returns. International returns are for item not as described only and cost paid by buyer. A partial refund, replacement, or repair is possible as alternative to return, at the agreement of both parties. Item must be returned packaged well in the same manner sent so it arrives back safely. Refund issued by same method as payment. A free copy of our full warranty terms/conditions can be obtained upon request.
    Q. What happens if the gear arrives with shipping damage?
    A. The Broadcast Baron takes meticulous care in packaging the items it ships and each item will be fully insured. However, in the unlikely event that shipping damage or loss does occur, you will not be held financially responsible.  Regardless of whether the shipping company eventually pays us or not on the insurance claim, we honor the 30 day warranty. We would only ask that you fully cooperate with the insurance claim and save all the original packaging.
    Q. Do you sell to international buyers?
    A. Yes, but not every item we sell can ship to every country. Please look at ebay's shipping and handling section (below the auction) to see which countries each particular item can be shipped to.
    Q. How much is domestic shipping?
    A. For most items, free shipping (including insurance) via FEDEX ground or USPS priority is included in the purchase price to any of the 48 states. Please take note if a particular item specifies free shipping or not. If you need anything faster, you will be responsible for the additional cost. Feel free to contact us for an express service shipping quote. Express shipping can also be billed to your own UPS/FEDEX/DHL account if you prefer.
    Q. How much is international shipping (including Alaska and Hawaii)?
    A. Buyer is responsible for actual shipping costs. Default shipping method to international locations is USPS express. Please use the USPS shipping calculator or contact us to get a shipping quote. USPS has different dimensional restrictions for different countries. It may turn out that your item, once packaged, is too large to use USPS service. Also, some items are too valuable to be able to be fully insured by USPS (also this varies by country). If this is the case, you will be given the option to use FEDEX instead and given an appropriate quote for FEDEX international costs. International shipping prices vary greatly depending on your location. Please contact us before bidding for a precise shipping quote and confirmation that the item meets the size/value requirements to go USPS. Please note that any customs charges, taxes, or duties levied by your country is your responsibility.
