    . The small, portable unit inputs 3G- or HD-SDI video up to 1080p60 and outputs the signal over Ethernet for use in your NDI workflow. It supports RTMP/HLS/SRT/TS streaming media protocols, allowing it to work with a variety of platforms. The encoder supports SDI-embedded audio and 3.5mm analog audio input and output in ACC or G.711 format. It is compatible with 128 and 512 GB microSDXC cards (available separately). Also featured is an SDI loop-through for monitoring.
    I bought this Encoder brand new. I used it about ten times for a PBS TV show I did. It has been in the closet ever since. It lists for ,159.00. The

    Four LED's indicate encoding on field 1 or field 2, video presence or field 1 detection..
    Encoding
    Encoding can be NTSC, PAL, on field 1 or field 2 of line 21; this encoding works well with the old system and with updated FCC specifications. The unit is compatible with PAL closed caption, and caption data is usually inserted on Line 22 of field one.
    Future Encoding
    This device will meet future requirements of inserting data on lines 10 through 25.

    This device is useful when a monitor without a Closed Caption decoder is used in broadcast monitoring; this device can be mounted close to the monitor because of its compact size.
    RS-232
    Remote can be operated via RS-232 and a PC; an RS-232C input/output is provided for data transmission as well.
