Because the item is with oil when sent to you, so there is no need to add oil when you use it the first time.
But you need to add the refrigerant, please add them to 70-80%, don't need to fill up.
There may be noise if the refrigerant is added too much.

The compressor may contain PAG oil for lubrication during shipping; please drain and replace.
It is necessary to add an appropriate amount of oil and refrigerant (70-80%) to the ac compressor before use.
Please check the compatibility to make sure this is the correct compressor for your vehicle!
The accumulator/drier MUST be replaced any time the a/c system has been opened. If this part has not been replaced upon the compressor replacement warranty is void.
Suppose there was a system failure, the accumulator/ drier, orifice tube, and or expansion device and condenser should be replaced as well as a complete system flush. If these steps have not been done regarding a catastrophic compressor failure, the warranty will be avoided.
