1970s Vintage Mego DARCI BARBIE Clone Doll Hong Kong Black Jumpsuit Gold Trim. Excellent condition, no snags, clean odor free.

Chunky and charming vintage toddler doll made by Ideal Toy Corporation, 1965. “Real Live Lucy”
She has a bobbing head action and a magnet in her mouth that was meant to attract or repel depending on if she was offered a “spoon of spinach” or a bottle. Her head does bob around when you pick her up which does give her a life like appearance coupled with her size. She does not have any original clothing or accessories but will arrive dressed in a bonnet and clothing.
Condition issues:
No cracks or marks. Her lips are missing a bit of paint which is not noticeable unless you are up close and looking. All of her lashes are intact and her eyes open and close perfectly. She does have a “plastic” odor to her and her hair has seen better days. It has a sweet whispy look to it now due to age and hair loss, but originally it would have been fuller and glossier. It could use a rehab, but the whispiness is appropriate for the toddler/baby look and kind of adds to the realism in my humble opinion. Her chest and abdomen have scratches that you can feel with your fingers—but they are not obvious upon looking.
