  • Material: Hard Plastic
  • All returns accepted: ReturnsNotAccepted
  • Condition: Arms still have their original rubber band and will not hold a pose. This is a walking doll, but I don't know how she/they work. I took pictures of her without clothes so you could see. She will not stand on her own, needs a doll stand. I bought her dress at a doll show and it's late 50s or early 60s factory made. It has never been washed. I did not wash the doll or her hair. Open close flirty eyes. They open/close well, but there seems to still be a little open crack when you lay her flat on her back. Maybe that is because they are flirty eyes. Arms, head & legs are jointed (move). Missing fifth finger on left hand.
  • Doll Gender: Girl Doll
  • Doll Size: 21 1/2 inch

    Description

21 1/2" Vintage Walking Doll - - I don't know how the walking mechanism works so don't know if it works.  She does have a rod down her body to her legs.
Mark of 76 on Back of Neck
Hard plastic body with vinyl head
Rooted hair.  Hair is dark blond -- short and curly.
Open/Close Flirty Eyes. Eyelashes all present. Blue eyes I think.
Jointed at hips, shoulders and neck (moveable)
Missing 5th finger on left hand.
Please enlarge pictures.  Her dress is beautiful.  I would call it a waffle cotton which was often used by Ideal for their Toni dolls and their hard plastic saucy walkers. The dress is a soft aqua accented with a pink bodice and trim around skirt - - and a pink ribbon/bow around the waist.  Round collar in same material as the dress.  Attached white half slip with lace around the bottom of the half slip.  Shoes are newer and did not come on her. Her socks were on her when I purchased her.  Her dress was badly stained and torn - - and I didn't feel was reparable, so that is why she is in a vintage dress I purchased at a doll sale.  I don't think the dress has ever been laundered and the elastic around the sleeves still has stretch.
In the last picture, she's telling you that she can do everything she did before - - even with her missing little finger.  :)

Hard Plastic,  unmarked,  walker doll from the 1950's in excellent condition with original dress. Lovely open and close blue eyes with all lashes.  Firmly strung.  Dress has a few small holes in blue taffeta skirt,  a torn area in the netting on the right lower ruffle and a few holes in the back of the slip. Original strawberry blond wig is very thick and clean. Black patent Mary Janes complete her outfit.
