1950s Sears Happi Time 14” Doll - Clothes, accessories & boxLittle Miss Kay Kellogg's Premium Doll - - 1950s or 1960s. I think this may be an original dress although not marked. There is another Miss Kay doll on pinterest with essentially the same dress and apron. That doll has no shoes.
Sleep eyes
Marking on neck: 4193//K13
Marking on lower back: K12-5
Head turns and shoulders and hips are jointed. Doll stands on her own as indicated in photos.
Original hairstyle - - No missing plugs to rooted hair.
Nice facial painting. Upper faux hair eyelashes. Single stroke light brown eyebrows.
Red plaid tafetta dress with matching plaid pants. Organdy pinafore/apron over dress.
Note: There is some red staining on the doll's body from the dress. Also a dark mark around her upper waist line - - which I am guessing is from the elastic of her pants? I attempted to wash both of with dawn soap and water. If I wasn't listing her, I would put vaseline on the areas and put her out in the sun. This usually takes about a week for the color to disappear.
I also noticed she does have finger-nail polish on her toes. Nicely done, but never-the-less, I doubt if she came from the factory that way:).
I have several advertising dolls and she is the best Kellogg's doll I have seen.
Thanks for looking. Please email me with any questions.
Sold as is.
